It presents in flawless condition, the real Maple wood veneer cabinet is glowing. Must see in person to appreciate the condition.
The name Glidomatic refers to the ‘Hidden’ section that simply glides forward to access the record player. Such an innovative design and timeless feature. It allows the top of the cabinet to be used to display some of your ornamental treasures, while also having a drop down door to store all of your beloved vinyl underneath.
With a total of 6 speakers this puppy can certainly sing. Records sound incredible on this system, as you’d expect, it goes very very very loud with a generous amount of bass.
It also has an original BSR/Phillips stacking turntable allowing you to now seamlessly stack up to 6 of your favourite records and play them 1 after the other with the push of one button. Full restored and working as it should, also installed is a brand new upgraded cartridge and stylus.
The working electronics of this radiogram have been completely overhauled by us and restored back to fine working order. Including all electro capacitors changed, faulty transistors replaced and switches and potentiometers cleaned and relubriacted. Now back to two channel Stereophonic sound. Radio Tuner also has been restrung and it picks up AM stations.
