I would like to present to you this stunning Mid century radiogram from Maples
1962 to be exact, made in Victoria Australia, a true piece of Australian history. Maples were a chain of department stores in Victoria established in the 1950’s, they sold everything you could possibly need for you home including Radiograms that they hand crafted themselves.
This model is becoming harder to find as the years progress, it doesn’t help that they were only sold in VIC, getting them in QLD is hard enough. 60 years old and we can proudly say its basically back to new.
Courtesy of Retraphonics, we have restored it from the ground up. Focusing on keeping everything completely original. Original amplifier has been rebuilt. Original turntable and original speakers. All serviced restored and ready to sing on.
Featuring a Valve amplifier this machine produces warm vintage sounds that you’d expect from a 60yo piece. It is a delight to listen to.
Original AM Radio , picking up a wide variety of stations.
Convenient under cabin storage for your Vinyl, with a classy fold down door.
The original condition of this unit is pristine and gorgeous, glass like wood finish. Real timber veneer cabinetry with lovely gold details. Its an absolute glorious piece of art. You need to see this unit to capture its immaculate condition.
The best part would have to be the stacking turntable which is back to working flawlessly. Stack up to 6 full length LP’s and let them play on through the night automatically.
