Kriesler Disco 11-401

A$1,750.00

Alright here we go, sleeping beauty is now woke.

Quick Disclaimer, your vinyl records deserve to be played back in style and with big sound. Vintage is the answer.

Restored by @retraphonics check our instagram and website for more videos and pictures of this unit

This would have to be the latest model Kriesler we have restored, the all mighty 11-401 sitting at around 1972/73

Such a cool Hybrid of a thing, Kriesler holds the crown for being responsible for the best radiograms ever made here in Oz, especially from 1959-1969.

Which brings us to why this unit is such a groovy unit, its not even made in Australia and its badged Kriesler? That’s right, its a cross between Japanese and English build’s.

As we know the Jap’s took over the audio game in the early 70’s world wide, some of the last standing Aussie Radiogram manufacturers attempted to compete with the Japanese with their own imported units.

The amplifier/ receiver is all Japanese construction as well as the loudspeakers. Then we have the incorporation of the stacking turntable which is English made.

Very nice Walnut cabinetry which presents itself in fantastic/ immaculate condition. We lucked out on this one as it had no chipboard damage at all. The boxes are absolutely flawless.

Completely serviced with full restoration completed on the stacking turntable. A high quality unit with bullet proof Japanese internals.

Working perfectly and sounding absolutely perfect, the benefit of this being a late model is the magnetic cartridge which is a darn treat especially on a stacking turntable which you can stack up to 6 of your records and it’ll play them one after the other continuously stacking them down onto each other. The amplifier lights up green when in use , super cool feature .

It also has an onboard AM/FM radio tuner which picks up ever radio station you could dream of.

Addition of iPhone or Samsung playback can be obtained with the purchase of one of our custom adapter cables.

PSA; the cassette player is unfortunately not up to scratch. We do however sell restored cassette players if that is something you are interested in pairing with your purchase.

Shipping Aus wide can be arranged by us for ease of transaction

Genuine local buyers can arrange a viewing with me on the Gold Coast in our showroom
