Kingsley 'Tiki'

from A$3,550.00

This one is seriously cool. An uncommon Australian-made Kingsley Tiki from 1968 with brilliant late 60s styling, beautiful timber cabinetry and a seriously powerful original transistor amplifier. This thing is LOUD and sounds fantastic.

The amplifier has been removed and thoroughly serviced, with ageing and out-of-spec components replaced where required. All controls and switches have been cleaned and serviced, connections checked and the complete system tested for strong, reliable performance.

The original automatic stacking turntable has also undergone a full mechanical service. The mechanism has been stripped of old hardened grease, cleaned, correctly lubricated and adjusted, with the motor and automatic functions serviced and tested. A new cartridge and stylus have also been installed.

It will automatically stack and play multiple records, or connect your phone and play Spotify, YouTube and your own music straight through the original Kingsley sound system.

The cabinetry has been carefully cleaned and nourished, bringing the timber back beautifully while retaining the character that makes these original pieces so good.

A properly restored 1960s Australian radiogram with huge sound, great looks and everything ready to use.

Restored and presented by us at Retraphonics.
