GE Westmont 1967

from A$3,250.00

There was a time when a radiogram wasn’t just audio equipment — it was the heart of the living room, a centerpiece where music, conversation, and style all came together.

The 1967 GE Westmont embodies that era perfectly. With its silky oak cabinet, graceful lines, and warm vintage sound, it’s a reminder of a period when craftsmanship and audio performance went hand in hand.

This Westmont has been fully restored by the team at Retraphonics, with every element carefully inspected, repaired, and returned to peak performance. As a solid-state transistor unit, it offers reliable operation while retaining the rich, vintage sound that radiograms of this period are celebrated for.

The Garrard 3000 four-speed automatic record changer has been completely rebuilt. All moving parts were cleaned and lubricated, the mechanism carefully calibrated, and a new cartridge and needle fitted to deliver pristine playback for your favourite records.

The AM radio tuner has been adjusted and restored to bring back the warm, full tones of the original broadcast sound.

The internal speakers are original, carefully preserved and maintained to ensure the system delivers the authentic, full-bodied vintage audio experience this Westmont was designed for.

The silky oak cabinet has been cleaned and polished, revealing the rich grain and mid‑60s aesthetic that makes this piece as visually striking as it is sonically impressive.

Every restoration decision was made to maintain authenticity while giving the radiogram decades more life, making it ready for modern use.

Gold Coast viewings are available by appointment, and interstate shipping can be easily arranged by us. Check our socials for videos to see this beauty in action.

This is more than furniture — it is a fully restored piece of audio history.
