Kriesler Stereo 6 -1973

from A$3,100.00

We’re back baby 2026 lets go!

Our first offering for the year, since this model was one of our best sellers last year we thought we would dig one of our better condition stallions out from the storage gods.

Restored back to 100% original condition internally and externally. No new Chinese record players or electronics.

Restored by us @retraphonics on the Gold Coast, please visit our instagram to hear a video of this unit.

The Kriesler Stereo 6 Radiogram; made in Sydney Australia. An absolute relic, these were manufactured for a decade with a few changes along the way; they really mastered this design. We have here a 1973 model which is one of their last radiograms made with Valves before transitioning over to .. well transistors.

My favourite thing about Kriesler’s is they’re built like a tank, especially the valve sets. Genuine materials were used throughout, something we no longer see. The reliability from these Radiograms is second to none especially once i’ve restored them.

Stunning condition, easily a VG++ . We photograph all of our Radiograms in a studio with natural light, none of the photographs are edited with false enhancing filters. We capture the true condition of the piece so the buyer can see its exact appearance. This one is in pristine condition.

This model features a nice late model BSR Stacking turntable which has the ability to stack up to 6 full length LP’s at any given time and will play them one after the other with the push of one button, that’s right 100% automatic with about 3.5 hours of record playback without human assistance. Truly revolutionary, and to think these types of record players became obsolete in the late 70’s is CRAZY!

We have fully restored the turntable as we do to all of our restored Radiograms, it is now operating as new, with no hiccups or missed steps it is operating  flawlessly. We also upgrade all cartridge and needle set ups with high quality units which have diamond tipped styluses and can successfully play any Vinyl record you throw at it without any skipping or tracking issues. Tried and tested.

The onboard valve receiver has been restored to good health, all capacitors replaced with good quality components. Power supply resistors replaced with new. All pots and switches deep cleaned and lubed. AM Radio is fully functional and working as it should, overall a great investment piece and beautiful Australian Radiogram which holds a special spot in the history of the fine manufacturing our country was once known for.

Listening to records couldn’t be any more enjoyable, this Radiogram sounds so pleasant and warm. The valves truly compliment the vinyl… they were right when they say Vintage Radiograms sound better… because they do!

We offer interstate shipping please enquire for quote, local buyers inspections are welcome.

Yes! We can restore any Radiogram that you might have, please share a photo of your unit and we can give you a quote to repair/ restore.
