Here we have a very nice AKAI component seperate stereo system from 1979 made in Japan
This is the black face variation which I really enjoy the look of, the green and black matches perfectly
Overall a really nice system for someone looking to step up their listening experience and convert themselves to the addictive vintage sound, bonus points for the system being a matching set up.
An above range mid-fi system that exceeds expectations, quality Japanese construction which has stood the test of time. A good service and its now operating like new.

AKAI AP-100C Semi auto belt drive turntable, silent operation and super stable playback. Will put anything in its price bracket to rest. AKAI made beautiful Open reel tape recorders and Turntables and this Turntable is a great example of that! Serviced and ready to go, New Belt, New Needle and cartridge (Audio Technica) centre bearing and motor lubricated and the auto return mechanism is now cleaning and working as it should. The hinges are working well and the perspex lid has not cracks, there are minor scuffs and scratches on the lid.
AKAI AM2350 Stereo Integrated Amplifier;
This is an absolute sleeper of an AMP, these were always seen in combo systems and generally came with a cabinet and matching HI-FI. Such good AKAI construction, a crisp clean Amplifier. Really similar to Yamaha in sound. 35WPC but sounds like its punches more. Serviced and ready to go, cannot fault it. Really Nice Amp Indeed!
AKAI SW-3508 3 way speaker system
Completing the look we have a floor standing AKAI speaker system, could also run as a book shelf system ontop of a sideboard. These look the part, matching the record player perfectly with the black front and green cabinet. They sound how the look, really good sound from these. Tweeters replaced. Ready to sing. Text book 1970’s yellow Japanese woofer design. These are quite the statement. In pretty nice condition, a few marks and spots here and there, comes with original speaker covers (black) 2 small holes on the fabric.
